Questions backers ask
Who can see the photos I send?
Only you and Photo9. Your photos are used solely to build your book — never shared, never sold, never used to train anything. They travel over WhatsApp's encrypted chat and are stored securely on our side.
What happens to my photos after the book is made?
We don't keep them around. Your photos and your photobook are automatically deleted two weeks after purchase — or two weeks after the creation date if you don't order — to protect your privacy, stay compliant, and keep our storage costs (and your prices) down. Want them gone sooner? Just message the same WhatsApp number.
Will low-res or WhatsApp photos look bad in print?
No. Our AI gently upscales lower-resolution and chat-compressed photos — just enough to reach good print quality and no further, so faces and subjects stay true to the original rather than being redrawn or altered. It all happens before anything reaches the printer.
What if I don't like the first design?
The first draft is just a starting point. Open the link to rearrange pages, swap photos, add more pictures, rewrite captions and change the format right in your browser — we don't print until you're happy.
How long does it take, and where do you ship?
The book is designed in seconds; printing and delivery take a few days. We print on FSC-certified paper and ship across the EU, UK and US; exact timing is shown before you order.
Where are the books printed?
With local printers close to you rather than one central factory. It's a deliberate environmental choice — shorter shipping means a smaller carbon footprint — and it supports local businesses while getting your book to you faster, all on FSC-certified paper.
Is my pledge safe?
You're backing an early-stage campaign, so you're funding the first run rather than buying off a shelf. If anything about your finished book isn't right, we'll make it right.
